Hi Uli,
=20
on my SIIA I took old bycicle tubes cut in half and glued them onto the
floor panels. This is exellent to reduce vibration and allows for the =
panels
to be removed and fitted again very easily.
=20
When, after having bought the car, I took the floor panels out for the =
first
time it proved to be a dreadful task. The putty somebody had used had =
gone
rock hard and in some places I had to burn it off from below to loosen =
the
panel.
=20
With the tube stripes it has become dead easy.

Hi All,

now it=B4s time for the front floor panels. I separate both floor panel =
sides
from the tunnel in the middle and fixed the tunnel cover first. Then I =
cut
new front floor panels and will fix them now.

Did You put a rubber profile between the floor panels and the mounting
frames of seatbox/sill panels, bulkhead footwells for reducing noise and
vibration and for waterproofing ? Or did you fix dry - metall on metall =
? Or
did you use a "silicon worm" around before srewing the panels?

Greetings from foggy rainy Germany

Uli
