    Sounds like normal farmer type maintenance/repair to me.
    Should be able to help you out there with a drivers side floor. The 
rubbers for the pedals are readily available (even here in Australia). 
contact me off list and we will work something out.
    Don't worry about the "if it becomes noisy". It will be noisy due to 
no sound deadening anywhere, a little dob of silastic will make 
absolutely no difference.
