Hi,

I'm in the process of setting up hazards in my 86" too. I simply
bought a 4-circuit-single-coil type 12V relais from my corner hardware
store (ZAR 38 = approx GBP 3.50), tapped into the flasher lights'
circuits bypassing the indicator switch. (Used one circuit for left
had, one for right-hand side, one for supplying power to the flasher
unit when ignition is off and left the 4th unused. They didn't have
3-circuit relais.). The coil is then operated with a dash mounted
switch.

When the switch is off all circuits are open, which makes the system
work as originally designed.

When the switch is on, the coil is activated, all circuits close and
thus power is supplied to the flasher unit from which the 'lamps' are
supplied through the bypass. It seems to work ok. I can try to
scribble up a wiring diagram and take some pics of the set-up if
anyone interested.

With a little black box to hide the unsightly relais, connectors, etc.
my total cost was about ZAR 70 (approx GBP 6.50).

Cheers,

V.
