Hi there,

fighting a fierce battle against bitter cold, the day was mine at the end.
At first signs of dusk each plug produced a spark!

Well, to be honest it wasn't that dramatic... Thanks to all of you I could
overcome all obstacles. I thoroughly cleaned all the contact parts inside
the distributor and fitted a new capacitator. This was sufficient to produce
the desired sparks as everything that should have been life was life. Didn't
know that the capacitator played such a role. The trials with gasoline
however had to be postponed. I thought that -9 degrees centigrade (about 16
F) inside the garage would prove rather a bit of an unwanted hurdle for
disturbing a thirty odd year long sleep. I will give it a try when this cold
wave is gone.

I continued then to take the front axle apart. 

Does anybody know the reference number of the conversion kit to move from
the original swivel housing suspension (managed to avoid the issue of
chromed and shiny spheres here...) to the railko bush system?
