<P>Hi folks,</P>
<P>tomorrow morning I start the engine( 2l petrol,S1, 86")and let it run forhalf an hour to get it warm. Blue and white smoke getīs less, so that the condencewater and rest of oil&nbsp;burns away.&nbsp;Exhaust smoke&nbsp;gets cleaner and cleaner. But then I saw, that the fanpulley has contact to one screwhead of the water front cover assembly. I stopped the motor and saw, that the fanpulley(part nr.: 230492&nbsp;has a halfround&nbsp;crack . In front of the belt disk is the cover where to fix the fan.&nbsp;This "cylinderpot" has a halfround crack at the edge, like the lid breaks away from&nbsp;a pot.</P>
<P>How it happens? Tired material or too much tension of the belt? What can I do?</P>
<P>Simply weld the lidedge around at the pot and use fan pulley again?</P>
