Hi Tony,
"Original Land Rover Series 1" (James Taylor) says that "..D-lamps seen =
on the 80s are found only on 1954 models 86s and 107s . All later =
examples have a round lamp which is familiarly known as the pork-pie =
type because of its shape".

  Hi,

Could someone confirm what type of rear/brake lights were standard on =
a 1955 86" series 1. I have the 54-58 parts catalogue and it shows =
both the 'D' shaped lights and the round 'pork pie' type. I am just =
curious to know exactly what type should be standard on my series 1.

  Thanks

  Tony
