Oh!
What is the PLC short for?
My First Land-Rover was a 1950 ex-mod rhd. And it was a lot of fun in the
woods and logging trails in Northern California near Shasta Lake. Before I
found out it was full time 4wd, I thought it was magic going up loose dirt
hills.
But I was thirty two years younger then. Still was 6' 2" though it didn't
matter much.
My 69 -88 fits better but even there I could use more leg room.
I had hip surgery several years ago and the 80" is a bit too short for me
anymore.
So it is on my mind that I might sell the 51 in the not too distant future.
I realize it might be worth more to some with the original running gear,
but it also would have cost a lot more to complete it. And actually I like
it a lot the way it is. It has the original look with a bit more modern And
much stronger engine etc.
Also the top/roof/hood that Badger made for me is wonderful. The quality
is like what you would expect to see on Jag-you-are or Rolls, if they make
a ragtop.
