I am suitably punished by the MOT inspector for my unhelpful  
contribution to this thread: the trailer lights fitted by PO to my  
88" do not match, and one of them lacks a reflector, so they have to  
be replaced. I'd really like to fit the proper pork pies, and I've  
managed to find some, but that means I'll need to fit indicators as  
well.

The trouble is, I can't work out where best to put them. The best  
examples I can find in SOG are this:

which probably doesn't leave enough room for a UK number plate, and

which doesn't really illuminate the number plate at all. There's  
another that shows flashers mounted on the crossmember, which doesn't  
seem right.

Is there an official right answer to this? Presumably it's (yet  
another) very common question. All suggestions very gratefully received.

ps. the parabolic springs, 2.25 engine and flip front mean that  
authenticity is out of the question, but at least I can look vaguely  
right.
