Delegation requires a very static class structure, and we are talking  
about highly dynamic frameworks...
Multiple inheritance is just whole different dimension of plug-ins!

For the record, we have around 90 or so plugins for Catalyst and all  
work well together.
IMO good frameworks should give the users a helping hand and not  
patronize them...
